I worked with Katie on a university wide course development project and she was fantastic! Katie was able to take two stock power point presentations on the topic of identifying mental health concerns in students, and turned them into a crisp, clean and easily accessible training module.
Katie was creative in her approach, suggesting helpful tips to make the training more engaging (open ended questions, certificates, etc.), she also worked independently and checked in regularly regarding her progress on the project. During our check-ins Katie would give a preview of what she had created so far, ask for input and suggestions, offer recommendations and kept me informed throughout the process. Katie completed the project within the specified time frame and was a delight to work with.
Thanks to Katie’s creativity and familiarity with Thinkific our entire student body and all of our CU Denver faculty and staff, have access to self-paced on-line courses training them to interact with and support students who are experiencing mental health challenges.

Katie is an extraordinary instructional designer.
We hired Katie as an Instructional Design Assistant in the Learning Agency - Learning Design & Technology initiative of the University of Colorado Denver to support digital pedagogy development in the School of Education; and she excelled. She is technically agile, good with people, and efficient. She does an excellent job guiding course creators and ensuring that they meet the standards needed for a quality course.
She worked developing courses with CU Denver Health & Wellness, and with Colorado Office of Employment First (COEF). Both clients were very satisfied with her work.
